2018 VNSNY Golf Classic Raises $260,000 for Hospice Veterans Program

On May 21st, 128 participants in this year’s VNSNY Golf Classic raised $260,000 for VNSNY Hospice and Palliative Care’s Veterans Program. Funds raised from the event, in conjunction with last year’s funds, have enabled the Veterans Program to hire an additional Hospice Veterans Liaison and extend its geographical reach. The program, which helps U.S. military veterans access their full range of hospice benefits and ensures that they are recognized for their service, has been awarded Level Four Status by the advocacy group We Honor Veterans—the highest attainable level.
