April 24, 2019–On Sunday, June 30th, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York will once again be participating as an organization in the PRIDE NYC March—the original and historic annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender lives and community in the United States. This year’s march, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, will pass directly in front of the Stonewall National Monument on Christopher Street, where the uprising originated. All VNSNY staff members are invited to join in as we march together to show our commitment to providing care and support for aging LGBT New Yorkers.
