September 2017 CHOICE Staff Commendations

Providing excellent customer service is something we should always strive for. Here are excerpts from some of the dozens of calls we receive each week from members thanking CHOICE staff for a job well done.

The daughter of a CHOICE member phoned to express her appreciation for the “outstanding service” provided by Member Service Representative Renee Ashley. “Renee is very gracious, provided clarity on all her questions, and gave us information we weren’t aware, which helped tremendously,” the daughter said.

Enrollment Coordinator Milagros Lopez received praise from a CHOICE member who noted that she was “very helpful” in taking the time to help him understand some concerns. The son of another member called to commend Milagros for outstanding service, adding that she was “very helpful in providing the information” he needed to understand, as well as being “a pleasure to speak with.”

A CHOICE FIDA participant called to commend Member Service Representative Christine Odom on a job well done. “Christine Odom was nice and polite and explained everything to my understanding,” he said. “She impressed me very much.”

Enrollment Operations Supervisor Tanisha James was praised by the daughter of a new member, who expressed her appreciation and thanks for Tanisha’s efforts in acquiring a HHA vendor to service a 24-hour case.

The wife of a CHOICE member shared that she was “100 percent satisfied” with Member Experience Representative Patricia Murray for being “so helpful and understanding.”

The son of a CHOICE member called to commend Member Service Representative Pamela Butler for handling his call in “a very efficient and friendly manner.” The daughter of another member also called to praise Pamela, noting that she was “kind” and “responsive to my concerns,” while also “going the extra mile” for her. Another MLTC member also thanked Pamela for her “outstanding customer service” helping the member with a transportation issue.

Finally, a member phoned to say how happy he is with the assistance he receives whenever he contacts the CHOICE Call Center. “I’m extremely pleased with VNSNY’s services,” he said, “and I enjoy my interactions with all the employees.”
