  • Beginning September 21, the Department of Education will be offering childcare to eligible families through our Learning Bridges program—learn more on our Learning Bridges page.
    • As the New York City Department of Education resumes in-person schooling this fall, most schools and sites will operate on a blended learning model. This will include some in-person services for a portion of the week and reduced class sizes in accordance with social distancing guidance. Please complete this survey to express interest in the Learning Bridges program, which will provide child care options for children from 3-K through 8th grade this fall for days when they are not in school buildings. The information collected in this survey will be used to guide the City’s planning for the Learning Bridges program. Families can expect more information about a potential placement in the coming weeks.
    • Important: There is a question on the survey that asks: “Is your child’s parent/guardian’s occupation listed among these essential workers?” If you are represented by a union, please enter that, and otherwise, enter essential healthcare worker.
