Partners in Care Home Health Aides Get Their Own Online Resource Center

October 6, 2020

The 7,000 home health aides at Partners in Care now have their own dedicated online Partners in Care Resource Center. HHAs can get to the beautiful new online center from any smartphone, tablet or computer. There, you will find recordings of Marki Flannery’s weekly conference calls, advice on COVID-19, information on how you can get a free flu shot, and much more.

“This all began during our HHA support calls, when aides asked us to provide certain key information to help them meet the challenges of COVID-19,” says Jim Rolla, Senior Vice President of Partners in Care. “We began posting links on Frontline, and those links grew into an entire dedicated Partners in Care section.”

While the new center is currently located on the Frontline website, notes Jim, in the coming months the Partners in Care Resource Center will become its own stand-alone website. For now, you can reach it by:

  • Clicking on the link at the end of this article
  • Going to the Frontline home page (frontline.vnsny.org) and clicking on the “Partners in Care” tab on the blue menu bar at the top
  • Going directly to the Resource Center by typing in the URL: frontline.vnsny.org/partners-in-care/

Other items posted on the Partners in Care Resource Center include:

  • A convenient list of every HHA Supervisor at Partners in Care and their phone numbers
  • Dates, times and phone numbers for upcoming HHA support calls
  • Tips on how to use the Sandata Mobile Connect and CareConnect smartphone apps
  • Advice on caring for clients with dementia
  • Childcare and education resources
  • A page containing links to all Frontline articles related to Partners in Care HHAs

“There is no more dedicated group in our organization than our amazing team of home health aides,” adds Jim. “I’m excited that they can now benefit from this tremendous new online resource!”
